- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, or materials planning.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment; semiconductor or electronics manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, FAST Scheduling Tool, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, Shipping, and Customer Service.
- Ability to analyze production performance, identify constraints, and implement recovery plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, inventory management, and demand planning is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the weekly MP run to ensure all customer orders are met.
- Daily planning using FAST scheduling tool to support manufacturing and fulfill OTD.
- Coordinate and work with the material planner and procurement team for piece part ordering and issuance.
- Liaise with warehouse and die cage on piece part and die inventory control.
- Liaise with manufacturing on delinquencies, output/lagging lots/expedites/inventories and delivery plans.
- Schedule and execute to engineering build.
- Communicate with global planning group on the demand outlook and die support issues.
- Respond within 24 hours on delinquency recovery plan and expedites.
- Interface daily with manufacturing to coordinate delivery of products to satisfy customer expedite requests to avert customer line down situation.
- Work closely with the shipping department to ensure all products are shipped out per committed ship out date.
- Coordinate between various functions (manufacturing, engineering, support) to ensure smooth NPI or new product transfer set-up.
- Update weekly on manufacturing performance e.g. output / lagging lots etc., to management.
