Manager, Manufacturing Solutions and Integration

Location: US-Based (Hybrid/Onsite onsemi location) with global cross-functional leadership responsibilities.

Role Summary

The Manager, Manufacturing Solutions and Integration, lead strategic initiatives to elevate Manufacturing Operations Systems (MOS) capabilities globally. This role combines Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture leadership, global team management, and transformation execution, driving standardization, scalability, and next-level operational performance. The leader manages a US-based team and partners extensively with global teams to modernize MOS platforms, align processes, and unlock business value through data-driven operations.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing operations, or business operations leadership
    • Proven track record in M&A integration and/or large-scale transformation programs
    • Experience managing global, cross-functional teams
  • Technical & Business Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of Manufacturing systems, ERP (e.g., Oracle/SAP), and planning systems
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, scheduling, dispatching, and traceability
  • Leadership & Execution:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed, global environment
    • Strong program management and execution discipline
    • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture Management & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead MOS activities for acquired/divested entities, ensuring alignment with enterprise & manufacturing architecture, data governance, and operational standards
  • Develop and execute post-merger system and process harmonization roadmaps
  • Identify synergies across legacy and acquired environments
  • Partner with extended group of cross functional team e.g. IT, product engineering, planning, finance and operations to integrate systems (e.g., MES, APS, ERP, data platforms)

2. Global MOS Transformation Strategy

  • Define and drive the roadmap to transition MOS into a next-generation, data-driven operating model
  • Champion adoption of modern platforms (cloud data platforms, AI/ML, automation) to improve factory visibility and decision-making
  • Standardize global processes across sites, ensuring scalability and consistency
  • Establish governance frameworks for MOS architecture, master data, and system integration

3. Cross-Regional Leadership (US–Asia)

  • Lead and develop a team of professionals in the US while influencing matrixed teams across Asia (e.g., Malaysia, Philippines, China, etc)
  • Drive strong collaboration between central teams and site-level stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment across time zones, cultures, and operational priorities
  • Act as a key bridge between global operations leadership and regional execution teams

4. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to improve factory performance through MOS enhancements (e.g., cycle time, OEE, WIP visibility)
  • Architect solutions linking Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and global ERP suites.
  • Embed Lean/Kaizen principles and structured problem-solving into system and process design
  • Drive audit readiness, compliance, and operational discipline across systems and workflows

5. Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Partner with senior leaders (Operations, IT, Finance) to define priorities and secure alignment on transformation investments
  • Deliver executive-ready updates on program progress, risks, and value realization
  • Serve as a key advisor on MOS strategy, transformation, and M&A operational integration
