The Diffusion Equipment Technician is responsible for sustaining, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving diffusion manufacturing equipment to ensure high equipment uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency. The technician will work closely with Production, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement activities.

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of diffusion processes and equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Basic understanding of PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and support shift operations.

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on diffusion equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and restore tools to production in a timely manner.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability and efficiency improvements.
  • Support equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning activities.
  • Analyze equipment failures and participate in root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers, Production personnel, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, yield, and equipment uptime.
  • Participate in shift support and on-call activities as required.
