Job Summary:
onsemi is looking for a QA/QC Engineer. It’s for an individual who managing and continuously improving the calibration and measurement system in conformance with the Quality System requirements and ensure ESD control across Shenzhen site conform to applicable international and industry standards and customer requirements. The individual must have strong organizational skills and understand (or be willing to train and learn) all calibration and ESD maintained on site. Strong people skills are a requirement.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manages the Calibration Laboratory daily activities.
- Plans, implements and periodically reviews improvement actions to attain laboratory goals.
- Performs calibration, adjustment and repair of the company’s calibration standards and shop-floor measuring equipment.
- Designs and implements calibration system and process improvements.
- Write and revise calibration procedures
- Evaluates committed preventive actions on discrepant and non compliant equipment and recommends alternatives as appropriate
- Measurement system and instrument consultant for Manufacturing.
- Support external audits (certification body and customer audits) when scope includes internal audit process.
- Performs external cal lab system and internal audits
- Defines and implement effective ESD control systems to conform to applicable international and industry standards and customer requirements and assure product and personnel safety.
