The Material Analysis Lab Operator provides operational and hands-on support to the Material Analysis and Failure Analysis laboratory, focusing on sample handling, routine lab tasks, DPA/CDPA execution support, and ensuring smooth daily lab operations for all packages including reliability activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent hands-on lab experience
  • Entry-level fresh or to 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, lab, or technical operations
  • Ability to work with precision tools and fragile samples

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in FA, reliability lab, or material analysis lab
  • Exposure to semiconductor devices or wafer-level handling
  • Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled lab environments
  • Keen to work in laboratory environment and try a new thing

  • Support day-to-day lab operations for material analysis, DPA/CDPA, and FA activities.
  • Handle sample logging, labeling, tracking, and storage in accordance with lab procedures.
  • Perform basic sample preparation tasks such as mounting, grinding, polishing, cleaning, and de-capsulation under supervision.
  • Execute routine DPA/CDPA steps according to defined work instructions and checklists.
  • Assist technicians and engineers during analysis and lab experiments.
  • Follow all EHS, chemical handling, and safety protocols strictly.
  • Support simple data recording, image filing, and report attachments as instructed.
