Job Requirement:
- At least 5 years (10 yrs+ preferred) of Tier1 or OEM R&D engineer experience in zonal or IVN (networking, gateway) software.
- In-depth knowledge of RTOS, AUTOSAR, Network SW and protocol stacks.
- Hands on, capable of working independently in the Lab for testing and debugging PCBA and applications. Familiar with SW development tools and reviewing customer applications and SW. Experienced in providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting and sw code review.
- Deep knowledge of automotive electronic systems in: Zonal controller; Automotive Electrical and Electronic Architecture (EEA); In-Vehicle Network, knowledge of automotive ethernet, especially 10Base T1s and RCP is a big plus;
- Good in communication skills with fluent English and MS Excel/Power Point presentation. Need to communicate regularly with international project team.
- Provide field application technical support to automotive customers. Drive new opportunities and design in.
- Perform troubleshooting, application analysis and design optimization for customers, either independently or with the support from local and BU technical team.
- Provide on-site technical and application support to customers.
- Interface with ON Semiconductor design and development team on new product definitions and technology requirements.
- Conduct technical presentations and product training to customers and distributors on automotive products. Especially on Zonal controller, Automotive Electrical and Electronic Architecture (EEA), 10Base T1s and relevant applications.
