onsemi is seeking an Environmental Data Analyst to join the Energy & Sustainability Data Analytics team to support enterprise environmental data management and data-driven decision-making across global operations. This role will help collect, validate, reconcile, analyze, and report greenhouse gas (GHG), energy, water, waste, production, and related operational data while supporting issue resolution through internal and external systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Procurement, IT, and manufacturing sites to improve environmental data quality, maintain audit-ready documentation, resolve data gaps, and develop insights that support sustainability strategy, customer reporting, external disclosures, and operational improvement.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who is comfortable working with large datasets, collaborating across functions, and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Economics, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental data management, ESG reporting, facilities, manufacturing, data analytics, or sustainability consulting.
- Proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working with large datasets, spreadsheet templates, data reconciliation, variance analysis, and recurring reporting processes.
- Strong understanding of environmental metrics, including energy, water, waste, greenhouse gas emissions, invoices, production, and operational activity data.
- Working knowledge of GHG accounting standards and sustainability reporting frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, CDP, GRI, SASB, TCFD, and EcoVadis.
- Ability to evaluate data quality, identify gaps, investigate anomalies, maintain clear documentation, and support audit trails.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tickets, and recurring deliverables in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, regions, and levels of the organization.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, evolving requirements, fast-paced business needs, and system/process changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
- Experience managing facility-level environmental data and supporting corporate sustainability reporting or assurance activities.
- Experience with Tableau, Jira, SysAid, or similar dashboarding, environmental data management, ticketing, or workflow systems.
- Experience building or improving environmental data processes, dashboards, forecasting tools, user guides, training manuals, or internal controls.
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work proactively and independently.
- Support enterprise GHG emissions inventory, accounting, forecasting, and reporting across Scope 1, Scope 2, categories.
- Collect, validate, reconcile, and manage environmental data, including energy, water, waste, production, invoices, and other operational metrics.
- Perform routine data quality checks, investigate missing invoices or incomplete records, and resolve environmental data gaps in partnership with site teams and subject matter experts.
- Create and maintain Jira data entries, and related internal or external work tickets to track, escalate, and resolve data and system issues.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analyses to identify trends, anomalies, risks, savings, and opportunities across environmental and operational datasets.
- Develop, maintain, and run reporting tables, dashboards, and analytics tools, including Tableau outputs for internal/external reporting.
- Support development of Tableau dashboard, including table runs, data updates, user support, and training manual development.
- Create spreadsheet templates and flat-file tools for internal use, and other recurring data collection or reporting needs.
- Maintain Sharepoint and develop training manuals, process documentation, and user guidance to improve consistency and adoption.
- Support IT project user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and data process improvements related to environmental data platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Document best practices and standardized procedures to improve data quality, process consistency, and scalability across global sites.
- Support product carbon footprint, lifecycle assessment, peer benchmarking, sustainability risk assessment, and other ad hoc sustainability initiatives.
