Job Summary

The Lab Technician will support Senior Technicians in board bring-up activities and shipment packing. The candidate will work closely with Senior Technicians, and the Test & Tune Manager on various tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the testing and tuning of headboards, demo boards, adapter boards, and use-case demo platforms.
  • Deliver demo board testing and tuning activities in accordance with documented procedures and weekly plans.
  • Ensure demo board builds meet ON Semiconductor quality specifications.
  • Read, understand, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) related to board rework.
  • Assist the Lab Manager in maintaining the laboratory and managing raw material inventory.
  • Support daily lab operations, equipment maintenance, and compliance with laboratory safety requirements.
  • Assist with packing and preparing shipments as required.

Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of PCB and PCA assembly process flows; board assembly knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with board bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Quick learner with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics or a related field.
