onsemi is looking to hire a Material Handler to support operations at our Nampa, ID, semiconductor fabrication plant! The Shipping & Receiving Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment by coordinating domestic and international shipments, maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records, and ensuring compliance with logistics and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to squat, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute domestic and international shipping of engineering and production materials.
- Comply with all FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) regulations and operating procedures.
- Support FTZ site processes, including daily handoffs and FTZ administrator requests.
- Crosstrain in FTZ administration position and serve as back up coverage to ensure uninterrupted FTZ operations.
- Coordination with external global teams on shipping and FTZ compliance and routing.
- Processes require transactions within local sites, corporates, and government systems to facilitate the movement of materials.
- Prepare, package, and label outbound shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements.
- Monitor shipping supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, including tracking requests, delayed deliveries, customs clearance issues, and other logistics-related concerns.
- Assist in identifying and resolving logistical challenges while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and promote 5S+ standards within the Shipping and Receiving area.
- Participate in Logistics Department projects, including Standard Work development, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
- Crosstrain in multiple logistics functions to provide operational coverage and support as business needs require.
- Crosstrain and assist with Inventory Management activities as needed.
- Support Fab PC shipping requests and logistics activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, reports, metrics, and tracking charts.
- Maintain flexibility to support a modified first-shift schedule, including occasional shortened Saturday shifts when required.
- Possess and maintain a valid Idaho driver's license.
