Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Fresh Graduate or up to 2 years of relevant HR experience.
- Basic knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and applications to improve HR operational efficiency, employee engagement, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to employee relations, disciplinary handling, or labor law matters.
- Knowledge of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements and compliance programs.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered HR tools, HR analytics, automation platforms, or digital HR technologies.
- Experience dealing with government agencies and labor authorities.
Key Responsibilities Industrial Relations
- Support disciplinary processes including counseling, verbal warnings, written warnings, show cause letters, domestic inquiries, and termination documentation.
- Conduct preliminary investigations on misconduct, absenteeism, grievances, and workplace complaints.
- Maintain disciplinary records and ensure confidentiality of employee cases.
- Liaise with government agencies and external parties on labor-related matters when required.
- Support collective agreement administration and union-related activities.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Facilitate employee engagement activities, communication sessions, CSR programs, and feedback initiatives.
- Support grievance handling and conflict resolution processes.
- Conduct exit interviews and assist with employee retention initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to HR and compliance.
- Prepare reports and maintain proper documentation on employee relations activities.
- Support ethics, compliance, and awareness campaigns.
HR Operations Support
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities related to ER/IR requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Generate reports on absenteeism, disciplinary cases, employee turnover, and engagement metrics.
- Assist in policy communication and implementation.
