onsemi is looking to hire a Wafer Fab Operator to support operations at our semiconductor fabrication plant! Our products are found in popular high-tech devices, drones, automotive rearview cameras, gaming systems, and even medical devices and self-driving cars!

- Are interested in learning what it's like to work in a highly controlled, laboratory-like environment, called a cleanroom.
- Have no problems wearing lightweight hoods, smocks, boots, and throughout the majority of your 12-hour shift. We also prohibit the wearing of perfume, cologne, hairspray, makeup, contact lenses, dresses, and open-toed/high-heeled shoes. These dressing requirements help protect the highly sensitive tech products you will be working with!
- Enjoy doing detailed work in a clean and structured environment and following established safety and quality procedures.

- Have the drive and capability to be cross-trained (learn more than one job or operation).
- Enjoy working together with equipment technicians (mechanics who are charged with maintenance), process technicians (fix any defects in the wafers), engineers and managers to produce the highest quality product.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds over the head and frequently move it over extended distances.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working with and around chemicals (safety training is provided).
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task prioritize effectively to push tasks through to completion.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
- Stable work history is a plus.
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $18.75-$25.87 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
