ONSEMI is looking to add a strong individual contributor to our Supply and Inventory Planning team. This person can have prior Supply Chain Planning Experience or suitable relevant skills and a demonstrated ability to learn job specifics quickly. The Supply Planner role covers both execution of supply planning and communication of supply status to all of the relevant parties – these include the Business Unit Management, Factory Management, Finance, and other tactical members of the Supply Chain Management team. Balancing Supply against volatile demand and Inventory Objectives requires strong data-handling and analytic skills, attention to details, and crisp, timely communication. A thorough understanding of supply chain basics and general knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is required.

Requirement
- BS/BA in Supply Chain Management (or related field)
- 0-3 years of SCMS work experience, prior experience in tactical planning roles
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- General understanding of the Sales and Operations Planning processes

- Serve as the Business Unit (BU) supply interface and coordinate with demand planning counterparts to ensure that the plans remain aligned.
- Oversee wafer starts and make final decisions on starts.
- Plan, manage, and set targets for inventory and build-category.
- Coordinate the allocation process (BUs make decisions) by suggesting an allocation based on BU strategy, setting up allocation in planning systems and monitoring allocation performance until close.
- Execute product transfers per BU, manage suggested EOL devices.
- Drive strategic builds and factory filler.
- Manage lead time by providing recommendations based on system calculated lead times, Market trends and coordinating with BU to gather decisions what gets published to market.
- Provide Beginning of Quarter (BOQ) supply input/coordination, advocate for BU and drive supply reviews and Product group and Division levels.
- Work with procurement and external manufacturing on negotiations (or re-negotiations) for external capacity.
